Call of Duty: Warzone: Anti-Cheat

Activision has started a large anti-cheat campaign for Call of Duty and introduced Ricochet . The new system should recognize all cheaters and invariably banish from all call of duty games.

The start of Ricochet is planned for 5 November 2021. The date on which the new Call of Duty: Vanguard will appear. Furthermore, Ricochet is also used for Call of Duty: Warzone to drive away all the cheaters from the shooter.

For the revelation of the PC software, Activision announced the following: The Ricochet Anti-Cheat initiative is a versatile approach to combating cheats, the new server-side tools for monitoring analyzes for identifying cheats, improved examination processes for the eradication of cheaters, updates to strengthen account security and more.

The Backend Anti-Cheat Security Features of Ricochet Anti-Cheat are introduced together with Call of Duty: Vanguard and later this year with the Pacific Update for Call of Duty: Warzone.

Now, however, this anti-cheat initiative has to process a barbetroot, because parts of the source code have already fallen to hackers in the hands. Allegedly, files have been forwarded from an internal test phase. But this should be about pre-release information that should already have experienced further adjustments. It remains to be seen how well the anti-cheat software works, if parts of the source code are already in false hands before the publications.
